Our copying capabilities extend beyond simple documents. We also provide video and audio duplication in various formats, including computer files, tapes and disks. And we copy CD-ROM disks when broader distribution of non-paper documents is required.

Scanning

The high-speed scanners at Blue Moose Litigation Support allows our clients to convert massive paper documents to digital format stored on disks, tapes, hard drives, networks drives or any other device. Rather than transporting boxes of documents into a courthouse, attorneys can carry their laptops, secure in the knowledge that crucial files will be easy to find at the touch of a button.

We can convert hard-copy or soft-copy documents to JPEG, TIFF, PDF or other formats upon your request. We can also duplicate those files and/or re-convert them to other formats, then help you catalogue and store them.

Blowbacks

Essentially the reverse of scanning, our blowback operations allow us to create hard-copy print-outs of your important digital files at high speed. We can apply bates labeling on the fly, or we can apply other important information to the print-outs, such as labels specifying confidentiality or deadlines.

Electronic Data Discovery

With about 90% of all documents now stored electronically, law firms have had to come up with an efficient way to search and categorize that information. The solution is Blue Moose Litigation Support. Using keywords and filtration devices, we sort through emails, hard drives, network drives, backup devices, etc. to provide our clients with the information they need in a fast, cost-effective manner.

You need to ensure that all parties reviewing copies of a document are reviewing the exact same version of that document, and Blue Moose addresses that issue with two forms of Bates labeling depending upon your preference – manual or electronic. Our staff will manually stamp up to three lines per page of your document, then make as many copies as you need. Our digitally applied Bates label allows your staff and attorneys to keep the original copy intact, while making the confirmation of document uniformity. Our technology “stamps” the numbers sequentially on every page swiftly, without duplication, without missing pages and without sacrificing quality control.

Optical Character and Word Recognition

After Blue Moose has created picture files of your documents, we can convert them to a format that allows us to do searches on characters and words. We provide OCR for text files and for searchable PDF files.

Binding

We provide a wide variety of binding choices, including tape, spiral, coil, ACCO, velo, 3-ring and depo. Most popular for small-to-mid-sized reports are the tape, spiral, coil and ACCO bindings, while the velo and notebook bindings typically become the option for larger reports. Every style has its specific benefits and applications, and the Blue Moose staff will be happy to advise you.

Trial Support

We deliver key documents right to the courthouse, whether they are in the form of exhibit boards, bar-coded notebooks or any other custom request.

Computer Forensics

We can retrieve data that might have appeared to have been lost or destroyed on a computer, and we can identify key characteristics of that data, such as time and date created. We can often identify the contents of hidden or temporary files needed for evidence.

Mailings

We specialize in bankruptcy mailings, to ensure that all interested parties are properly notified of a court proceeding. However, we can adapt to any mailing list that you provide, processing and sending bulk mail in huge quantities on your behalf. We will stuff the envelopes and apply the addresses.
